USB watch

Doubling up watches as many other gadgets is the way to go these days. Here you have a LED time piece integrated with a USB flash drive for data storage. You don’t have to carry an extra flash drive in your pocket, thanks to Tokyoflash who have jammed USB drives into one end of the wristband watch. All you have to do is take the watch off and connect to the USB key on the end of the strap to the USB port on your computer to upload or download your data.

The USB watch has three small circles, two of which represents the usual i.e. the hours and minutes, but the third does not indicate the seconds but, indicates how much storage space remains on the drive. Unfortunately, it’s still just a design, so you won’t be able to pick this one up just yet.

Is it the E-ink newspaper or the iPaper?

No more shouting at your pet dog cause he chewed up you newspaper. No more getting hit by the newspaper boy who directly aimed the roll of newspaper at your face :). No more piling up newspapers in the garage cause here is the E-ink concept which might just have the newspapers fade away!

Now, a couple of weeks back I had mentioned about a SEIKO’s e-ink display watch where the e-ink technology was explained. Using the similar concept here is a newspaper that uses E-ink with a semi-transparent surface which creates a display on a surface that looks just like a newspaper, but won’t leave any black ink residue on your hands.

Here is the THEME of this gadget:
A device that truly considers the daily scenarios of our audience as they engage with news content.

SteriShoe

Here’s a fact for you - Sweat from feet causes shoes to become breeding grounds for the fungus and bacteria that cause toenail fungus, athlete's foot, and odour. Each foot sweats up to 8 oz. per day!! Yep, thats right, if you get to thinking too much about that, it is a bit gross.

Maybe it is time to wonder how much bacteria gets built up inside of a pair of shoes you never wash.  Considering that we wear socks before clamping on those pair of awesome shoes that you bought from Nike. Despite that, the fact mentioned above still holds. So, here is something that you might want to think of buying: The SteriShoe ultraviolet shoe sanitizer. This is a clinically proven way to clean the inside of shoes and remove shoe odor without using harsh chemicals. The device, which is inserted into the shoe just like a supporting shoe tree, operates for 45 minutes and then shuts off automatically. Thought to be useful for people with nail fungus, athlete's foot, and foot complications of diabetes, the device might also help prevent embarrassing moments for people with stinky feet.

The compression sensor requires that the SteriShoe® ultraviolet shoe sanitizer be in a shoe and slightly compressed. If the SteriShoe® shoe sanitizer is treating a shoe and it is removed from the shoe, the compression sensor will be triggered and the power to the lamp will be stopped.

Laptops and Laptop accessories

As the competition for using the best laptop increases every minute, as a customer, you might want a place where you are able to make the right comparisons between the makers of the laptops that fall in your range. Apart from that, I’m sure you will be looking for accessories for your laptop such as notebook cases, laptop arms etc.

Laptop stand provides an impressive array of accessories with an aim of improving the ergonomic design to help you get the right posture and not add additional stress and strain to the parts of the body since the stands come with joints by which you can move the stand to any point and have the laptop right in front of you based on the height, width and rotational axes. These wedges are popular because they are simple in design, and can be easily stored away when not in use.

Apart from providing an accessory that avoids the cause of muscular and joint problems, the aesthetically appealing portable laptop stands solve the problem by ensuring that the laptop is ideally located and as such ensures the correct movements when working on the laptop.

There are many other commonly purchased laptop accessories as well. Among the most common are USB flash drives. These drives are small enough to be used as a key ring in many cases, but can often hold well over a gigabyte of data. These are fast becoming the easiest way to transfer documents from one computer to another without having to use email or a Bluetooth connection.

Laptop stand is a one-stop website where you can get all sorts of products such as laptops & laptop accessories, cases, iPods, cameras, office furniture etc. It avoids the hassle of looking into different websites for you to buy different basic products that will be required.

My personal favourite is the iPod MPS & Players simply because as a big music fan, I need the best products to listen to my songs and one of the best things is that there is a car accessories page that will display all the accessories you need for your car ranging from a Mobile Cassette Adapter to an iPod transmitter and charger for a very cheap price.

Are you on facebook all the time? Do you love listening to music and take pictures and upload them on facebook to share it with your friends?

Well, seems like Microsoft is out with its two phones which are completely targeted towards someone like you, who is very social and someone who would want a gadget that helps keep in touch with your friends wherever you are, all the time!

Windows Phone 7 is the mobile operating system which is used in both the phones – KIN1 and KIN2.

“If you are focused on social connection, self expression and a digital life, how do you bring that to a phone?” says Robbie Bach, president for entertainment and devices division at Microsoft. “As we were working on Windows Phone 7, we decided we had an opportunity to go after this social group of people?”

What’s common between KIN 1 and 2?
Well, both these phones come with a made to touch screen that helps you use your fingers to pan, scan and zoom. They are powered by zune’s media player.

What’s the difference between KIN 1 and 2?
  1. KIN 1: A compact keyboard for one-handed texting. KIN 2: An ample keyboard for two-handed texting.
  2. KIN 1: a 5MP camera. KIN 2: a 8MP camera.
  3. KIN1: Mono speakers. KIN2: Stereo speakers.
  4. KIN1: 4GB. KIN2: 8GB.

We have to see how HP plans on making Windows 7 on a full slate device with netbook class internals perform smoothly as it shows in the demo videos. • five-hour battery
  • 1.6GHz Atom Z530 processor with UMA graphics and an accelerator for 1080p video playback

Imagine not over-doing your toast ever again! Thats right, no more shoving your toast in the deep dark slots of your toaster. How about a concept design would be able to make every piece of toast perfect?

This transparent toaster allows you to see the toast while it's toasting, so no more burnt toast. The design company behind this masterpiece says that currently the glass doesn't get hot enough to toast bread, but maybe in the future.

iPhone US 4.0

The much awaited iPhone OS 4.0 is on its way. There are quite a few new features added to the new OS. Here are some of the major new features:

  • Multitasking - The biggest request from iPhone users is the ability to multitask, and Apple delivered. Part of the new operating system includes a quick way to switch between applications without losing your spot in any of the open apps. Services include background audio, so apps like Pandora can play music in the background.

  • Better Background Support – for example, you're using an iPhone for turn-by-turn directions and need to check an email while still on the road. Now you'll be able to without killing the nav app.

  • Folders – Another wonderful feature which allows you to organize your iPhone apps in folders.

  • Email Improvements - It will gain a unified inbox and it will also support threaded email conversations.

  • Game Center - As part of iPhone OS 4.0, the iPhone will support a more social gaming experience.

  • iAd - Apple debuted its new mobile advertising platform. No one really like the way ads work on the iPhone. When you're playing a game, there's nothing worse than accidentally clicking on an in-game add that closes the game, opens the browser, and sticks you on a web-based ad.

Apart from these major features, there are plenty of minor features which you might want to look out for.

Nokia N-810

The customers are at an advantage when it comes to competition between great manufacturers. Here is Nokia’s tablet phone, N810. The first thing that came in my mind when I saw this model was that the screen size is just too small for it to be a tablet.

However, the Nokia 810 has some advantage over the apple’s touch or the ipad. The N810 has a 9 screen resolution of 800x480 and the 810 displays websites as they are, whereas you will need to zoom in and out. It also comes with a smooth slide with an integrated QWERTY keyboard. In a nut shell, the Nokia 810 is a neat product but I still wouldn’t call it the “tablet”.

SEIKO’s e-ink display watch

Seiko, the Japanese watch company, is making watches with e-ink displays. So what exactly is the e-ink technology?

Well, this technology that comes with an active matrix display — the same type of screen technology behind your typical LCD panel. Using active matrix, all of the legibility and low-power consumption benefits of e-ink are combined with a much richer range of imagery and data display. The “Future Now” watch renders 80,000 pixels in four shades of gray, providing 300 dpi resolutions for intensely sharp and clear images even within the restricted dimensions of a wristwatch screen. The unique electronic paper display module in this Seiko watch is the result of a joint development effort, bringing together E Ink's 'electronic ink' technology and Seiko Epson's advanced display manufacturing and electronic circuitry techniques. When combined, these technologies offer a wide range of display design possibilities - including flexibility!
